Bought 25 D1 Mini boards for classroom. Blowing out B5819 on many
What would be the best way to handle this problem?
We have 25 D1 mini boards for classroom learning and the students make mistakes in wiring and are accidentally blowing out the B5819 diode. This has happened to about 5 or 6 boards and I want to know what is the best way to either get them fixed and/or do something to help prevent this......it seems too easy and happens to even some of the most careful students.
I suppose you can replace the diode?
@deshipu I have ordered replacement diodes. I just feel that it is a bit too easy to zap the board this way. Are there any "warranty" repair programs or means to prevent this from happening? That is really my question.
